About Us

The Clinic was established in August 1995 by Hadyn O'Neile in response to a local demand for a Veterinary Centre in the Kinson area. Hadyn grew up in Bournemouth and went to school in Kinson before going on to Liverpool University to obtain his Honours degree in Veterinary Science in 1985.

In 2004, Aniwell needed to expand and we opened a second practice in Alderney, Poole. The practices are both fully equipped and work in harmony together sharing the same database through a continual broadband link.

As part of our continual re-investment policy in 2013 we moved the Kinson clinic next door in to a much larger unit.  It's enormous in fact!  We now have the smartest first opinion practice in the area with state-of-the-art facilities. A large reception area allows us to have a quiet Cat Only section, which hopefully makes them purr.  Separate kennels and cattery, plus an isolation area. Two op theatres, a prep area and imaging room plus a dedicated lab room. Upstairs, there is office space and a staff room and kitchen with potential for further development.
